Youngstown.

The Brighter Smiles Foundation, originally founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to empowering communities globally, one smile at a time. Early this year in collaboration with four students at Youngstown State University we expanded into the Youngstown area creating a Youngstown Chapter.

At our first event at McDonald Elementary School, we provided educational information on the importance of oral care and donated 150 dental kits to children in grades K-2. We express our gratitude to Chelsea Palmer and McDonald Elementary School for the opportunity to bring our initiative to their community. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to enhancing the oral health of those we serve.

As the holiday season drew near, we made the decision to join forces with the Salvation Army in Warren, Ohio. Each year, they play a vital role in delivering care packages to our local community during the festive season. Contributing to this initiative, we donated 500 dental hygiene kits and dedicated a day to actively participate in assembling the care packages using our supplied kits.

This collaboration was with our local mosque, Masjid Al-Khair. This is a community that is close to our hearts. We gave a presentation on the importance of dental hygiene to the Sunday school children and donated about 60 dental hygiene kits. Thank you so much to the amazing staff who helped us organize and arrange this event.
